We're proud to present the television premiere of the lost classics The High and the Mighty and Island in the Sky. They've been fully restored, digitally re-mastered, and unseen for more than 20 years. We're rounding out the weekend with a host of your favorite John Wayne movies, all day and all night Sat. and Sun., July 16 and 17.  Movie of the Month: Platoon Oliver Stone's Vietnam epic gets AMC's Movie of the Month treatment. We're showing the film throughout the month and we've packed it with trivia, factoids and stories about the making of the movie. Shows all month long. The Complete Bond: 1962-1989 Bond. Complete Bond. Everyone's favorite spy is coming to AMC this August. We're airing the first 17 James Bond films from 1962-1989 including perennial favorites like Dr. No, Goldfinger, and From Russia With Love. We'll show a different Bond movie every weeknight -- a full-screen version at 8 PM and the letterbox version at 10:30 PM. Airs Mon. Aug 8th through Tues.
